Our Golf Day raises over £16,000 to support children and young people.

On 14th September, we held their 19th annual Golf Day to raise vital funds for disadvantaged children and young people across Hampshire and the Isle of Wight.

Held at Remedy Oak Golf Club and sponsored by In Tech, the event had a total of 22 teams taking part. Each team spent the day enjoying a fabulous golf course, learning more about Youth Options, and had the opportunity to have a Pro Golfer take a shot for them!

The day ended with a charity auction which raised over £12,000! Players bid to win prizes which were kindly donated by Kuti’s Brasserie, Cowdray Golf Club and The Hut on the Isle of Wight.

All the funds raised from this event will go towards creating better futures for those we work with, something that is needed now more than ever before.

This year was a particularly special year as it was the last event held by our former CEO, Mark Dixon, who set up the event in 2002. Since that time it has raised thousands of pounds for the charity.  Mark retired as CEO in May 2021 and has been supporting the charity part time since then. The Golf Day was his last day as a member of the Youth Options team.
