We will be offering families from Eastleigh the opportunity to learn how to make the most of the nature around them.
Funded by Eastleigh Borough Council, we will be running 4 family sessions at various outdoor areas around Eastleigh.
Our highly trained Youth Support Workers will engage families in practical, outdoor activities that promote positive mental and physical wellbeing as well as showing the importance of the natural world. This may include woodland games, den building, habitat exploration, nature art and of course a picnic!
Each session you will help families to learn new skills, understand the importance of nature and being outdoors, and gain the knowledge and confidence to access green spaces independently throughout the year.
Sessions will run 10am - 1pm on:
- 9th October 2021 at Itchen Valley Country Park
- 16th October 2021 at Itchen Valley Country Park
- 15th January 2022 at Lakeside Country Park
- 19th March 2022 at Stoke Park Wood
There will be something for the whole family to enjoy, and each session is completely free to join. To book your place visit bit.ly/FamiliesOutdoors
