We are delighted to announce that the Hampshire Police and Crime Commissioner has awarded us £66,748 to fund three projects across the county.

Youth Options have been lucky enough to be supported for another year of detached youth work. This project will focus on providing flexible and mobile support, responding to hotspot areas of anti-social behaviour and exploitation across Southampton.  It aims to lower offending, reduce the burden on local police, and create better relationships between young people and their communities.

The second grant will enable us to create a Knife Crime Awareness Course for Primary Schools. Current resources are aimed at older young people, and so this funding will enable us to address a need to educate children about the dangers of knife crime and what to do if they become a victim of or witness a crime.

We have also be granted £44,000 to expand our NVR courses to support more families in need. This funding will enable us to help those families on our waiting list.

We're thrilled to be one of the organisations supported to provide much needed work - and you never know, you might see us as we are out and about!
