We are extremely grateful to have a network of volunteers who help us to help others.

Our aim is to provide an exciting choice of activities and projects to suit those who would like to make a difference to their own lives, and support others in the process. There are opportunities for volunteering across our projects, however you do need to be over 16 to apply.

If you are interested in volunteering please take time to look through the projects available to see what would most suit your skills. For further information on this section of our volunteering please email:

Benefits of Volunteering

Volunteering can be hugely rewarding. Not only will you be making a substantial difference to your community, it also looks great on your CV, you’ll have the opportunity to learn new skills, and you will meet loads of amazing people along the way.

In return for offering your time and skills, we offer a structured support system and a variety of training opportunities.

Gardening Club

We have a very exciting opportunity to join a group of dedicated volunteers who are helping us to create and develop our new Outdoor Learning Centre.

Opening this year, our new site will offer children, young people and their families the opportunity to take part in meaningful activities that support their social and emotional development, help them engage with learning, and to spend positive time outdoors.

The club will run two 3-hour sessions (9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm) every Friday.

We have lots of work to do, and we need many helping hands to complete our vision! This will include:

  • A wildflower meadow
  • A horticulture area
  • A forest school site
  • Bushcraft area
  • Wild spaces
